DECORATIVE BARK
There are four decorative fir bark products differing only in particle size.  These products are derived predominantly from fir trees.  These products contain very little wood and are graded for both minimum and maximum particle size in each category.  All are used as ground cover to provide all the mulching benefits as well as the esthetic values.

Mini Nuggets

Mini Nuggets have a 1/4" to 3/8” particle size. It is used in small areas, planters and containers with a minimum rate of 3 yards per 1,000 square feet.

Small Decorative Bark
Small Decorative Bark has a ½” to 1” particle size. It is used effectively in smaller areas, playgrounds and container with minimum rate of 3 cubic yards per 1,000 square feet.

Medium Decorative Bark
Medium Decorative Bark has a 1” to 2” particle size. It is used for medium to large planting areas with a rate of 5 to 6 cubic yards per 1,000 square feet.

Shredded / Walk-On Bark
Shredded / Walk-On Bark has a 1” to 3” particle size. It is a fibrous material containing some granular bark and cambium wood.  Texture will vary with moisture content. Shredded / Walk-On Bark provides a forest fragrance.
